HOUSTON, May 17, 2013 – Root Level Technology, an established pioneer in web hosting services and web development services, is excited to announce the addition of a brand new datacenter in Houston, Texas. The Houston site will be the company’s largest site and reflects the company’s commitment to continuously enhancing customer service and support.
Located minutes away from the company headquarters, the new site is powered with premium bandwidth from Level 3, Cogent, and Alpheus. The new datacenter has proven itself as a reliable, and to be a hardened data center that can withstand any natural disaster. Since 1983, five major hurricanes/tropical storms have hit the Houston area. The facility has never lost power or had to operate from backup generators. The servers arrived on May 13th and were up and running by May 16th. The datacenter is fully SSAE16 and SAS70 Certified.
There’s still work to be done before the site opens, but we wanted to share the news and some photos about this exciting event and keep you up-to-date as we progress towards the upcoming grand opening.
